Welcome to the weekend, my friends! Good morning, good morning, GOOD morning!! This weather has me in a glorious mood today. I\u2019m headed to yoga now and planning a lovely long walk or hike for this afternoon. Bring on all the fall weather! <\/p>\n

ON THE BLOGS THIS WEEK:<\/strong> French toast is always a fun weekend treat and you\u2019re going to love this cheesecake stuffed french toast topped with a warm berry sauce<\/a>. Even though this looks fancy, all the components are simple and you can have it on the table in about 30 minutes.<\/p>\n

Try a fun seafood twist on classic chicken piccata with this Shrimp Piccata<\/a>. It\u2019s a bright, savory dish full of zesty flavors in a buttery lemon wine sauce! This recipe is a solid gold keeper. Straight out of Holly Nilsson\u2019s fantastic new cookbook, Everyday Comfort<\/a>, this dish called my name as soon as I laid eyes on the recipe \u2013 and it did not disappoint.<\/p>\n

Plump, juicy blackberries are muddled with fragrant fresh mint to form the base of this irresistibly beautiful and refreshing Blackberry Bourbon Smash<\/a>. This is a cocktail so gorgeous it\u2019s hard to believe it\u2019s so easy to make!<\/p>\n

One of the most popular party snacks we make is Spinach Artichoke Dip<\/a>. It\u2019s a classic appetizer that pretty much everyone enjoys, and depending on the crowd, you\u2019ll be lucky if you have a single bite left over.<\/p>\n

This Garden Vegetable Soup<\/a> is absolutely exploding with all sorts of fabulously fresh taste. Every spoonful is brimming with wonderful veggies!<\/p>\n

Glazed, delicately almond-scented, cake-like Cherry Cookies<\/a> are pretty darned irresistible. These fluffy, chewy cookies are a sweet treat that goes great with a cup of tea or coffee.<\/p>\n

If you love Whoppers or chocolate malted milk balls, you\u2019re going to go wild for this Chocolate Malted Crunch Ice Cream<\/a>. This old-fashioned chocolate malt ice cream gets a little extra boost of fun from chopped malted milk balls.<\/p>\n

My FAVORITE THINGS<\/strong> this week are my wireless earbuds<\/a>. My whole family has these earbuds and they\u2019re the best ever for road trips, for every day, for exercise, for everything. (I just looked up our first purchase and these have been going strong for 3 years now.) It still impresses me just how inexpensive they are considering how well they perform.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I upgraded mine last year to the noise-cancelling version, (linked above) which has been lovely on days when I\u2019m flying. And they\u2019re still ridiculously inexpensive at less than $40 for excellent earbuds.<\/p>\n

What I\u2019m READING:<\/strong> A Hat Full of Sky<\/a> by Terry Pratchett. This has been every bit as much fun as the first book about Tiffany and the Wee Free Men<\/a>, I highly recommend this fun series. <\/p>\n

What I\u2019m LISTENING to:<\/strong> Deep Enough to Dream<\/a> by Chris Rice. This is a peaceful praise album that I have been enjoying in the mornings while I\u2019m starting my day. It\u2019s relaxing and low-key without being boring at all.<\/p>\n
